EMF has nearly 80 different varieties of standard carnations and 30 different varieties of spray carnations from different breeders. The varieties are available in length 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 centimetres.

EMF is a carnation nursery located in Ethiopia, since 2004 and in Kenya, since 2021. The Carnations are grown indoors. EMF produces about 50 million stems per year, all of which are imported to the Netherlands.
